A record number of new technologies was submitted this year. The odds of winning were longer and our esteemed panel of judges was particularly picky. High scores were few and far between. But a few new technologies caught these discriminating surgeons’ attention. And the winners are…

Over 35 outstanding inventions representing the inspired work of engineers, inventors and surgeons were submitted for consideration in 2012. The winning technologies were selected by an independent panel of surgeons according to each submission’s creativity and ability to advance the care of back patients.
